This class shows how TME, Inc. has progressed to be a leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM) deliverables. TME adopted BIM in 2007 and took on a rapid change from the traditional 2D design into a 3D design environment. Understanding that BIM was much more than a 3D deliverable, they reached out for help from their Autodesk® Partner, ATG USA. Together, through strategy and communication, we developed a new implementation plan that created tremendous excitement and success. We show you how and what this process of change entailed to help you become more successful in your own firm.
- Apply the lessons learned in this class to show why engineering firms need to change their means and methods to accommodate BIM processes
- Explain why the adoption of BIM is a good reason to change the way your firm operates and produces deliverables
- Overcome fear of the BIM process by achieving increased productivity and return on investment (ROI)
- Use the step-by-step process described in this class to improve your BIM process
