Description
Did you know that AutoCAD software has a CAD Standards Manager? Yes, there is a panel on the Ribbon under the manage tab where you can find the CAD Standards panel. Consistency in design and drafting are very important for maintaining and sharing drawings internally and externally in AutoCAD software. The CAD standards manager can help you check, correct, and maintain standards within your company. In this class, we will review the CAD Standards panel on the ribbon and explore how you can use that tool to capitalize on your standards within your company. At the end of this class you will be able to configure template files for standards, use the batch checker to create a violation report, and understand the use of the layer translator. You will bring back knowledge about how to help your employer move forward in the production of standard work. This session features AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
