In this weeks QUICK TIP, I want show you how to add wires to your Fusion 360 designs to help enhance rendering realism, and can also allow for accurate estimates of wire lengths.

 

Doing this, will very likely require that you use some 3d sketching which can prove challenging, so join me as I delve into this world…

 

 

The idea for this QUICK TIP came from a fantastic video I saw on the Adafruit channel, which I recommend everyone watch as a supplement due to the additional details, commentary, and examples.

 

 

I hope that helps! Even if you’re not making wires, the skills used to make the 3d sketch can help with many other part types and features.
