Up and Running with Advance Steel

This lab is designed to give you a feel for the ease of use of Advance Steel software, the structural steel package that’s got the industry talking. You’ll create a structural model from scratch and then insert automated connections between structural sections. You’ll also learn how to insert more-complex structural elements, such as stairs. You’ll then generate fabrication drawings of the structural model you’ve created. Finally, you’ll generate bills of materials (BOMs) and cutting files, such as DXFs and NCs, from your structural model.
