In this session, you will learn the basics of the FormIt 360 software user interface and explore the export-import functionality. We will review source file types and locations for urban planning exercises across major cities such as New York; Los Angeles; Washington, DC; and Boston. Then we’ll explore the possibilities of importing files into Revit software using FormIt 360 software’s native Revit file translation process. Finally, we will review the results and enhanced workflow functionality of urban models in linked Revit software files. This session features FormIt 360 and Revit. AIA Approved

Emily Bisaga Dunne is an associate and design technologist at CBT Architects, a 49-year-old firm with over 200 employees working globally on projects that range from urban district master planning to large-scale mixed-use developments in Boston, Massachusetts. Dunne is a Revit software specialist and evangelist leading initiatives to streamline data management and analysis, facilitating high-level coordination between firms, developing CBT’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) Execution Plan, and innovating new workflows with the Dynamo extension and Autodesk Labs applications. Dunne is highly skilled in design development, cloud rendering, virtual reality, and walkthroughs. She is a 2012 graduate of the Catholic University of America (Master of Architecture degree, concentration in real estate development) and of Rhode Island School of Design (2009, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior architecture). Dunne previously worked at TK&A Architects and MG2, and she was the project manager and a designer of the award-winning HP MIMIC Ultimate Smart Office of the Future Competition through Talenthouse for clients HP and Microsoft Corporation.
