How the connector works

The Fusion Connector for Synera leverages Autodesk Platform Services (APS) APIs to access and modify Fusion model parameters stored in the cloud. Within a Synera workflow, users can: 

1. Find their Fusion design inFusion Manage and select the document URL.
2. Provide the URl to the Run Fusion node in Synera. 
3. Read Receive a read out of all parameters and select which ones to modify.
4. Update dimensions or model parameters, whether is a fillet radius, an extrusion length, and or number of entities to patterns directly in Synera. 
5. Trigger model rebuilds and design updates in the cloud using the Fusion Automation API. 
6. All updates are stored as usual in Fusion Manage for full PDM traceability.
7. Automatically download and then use updated geometry in your Synera workflows for simulation, costing, or other tasks.
