The water infrastructure team has been hard at work delivering exciting improvements to the 2026 versions of all of our water portfolio. Not only have there been some stellar recent releases like Subgrid sampling in InfoWorks ICM and advanced Leakage Modeling in InfoWater Pro, but there’s a lot more on the roadmap coming in the next year.
While we can’t share everything that we’re cooking up for the water industry, we do want to give you a peek under the hood on what our water teams are working on and what you’ll be seeing new in our products if you stay on top of updating to the latest version. To do that, our water infrastructure product and marketing teams got together to host a webinar, which is now available on YouTube. It details what we’re most enthusiastic about in the coming year, including some exciting changes to our InfoWorks ICM offering. You can watch the webinar right here. 👇
The Autodesk water infrastructure roadmap
Just like water is transparent… so is the Autodesk water infrastructure solutions team! We host a public product roadmap detailing the key features we’re working on broken down by product and solution. You can navigate to understand what’s in development, what’s under consideration, and stay up to date with everything in the most recent versions of our software.

One thing to note is that we don’t build in a silo. A significant number of our feature releases come directly from you, the water engineer. Our ideas portal allows anyone to submit ideas for what we should add to each of our solutions to deliver better value and improve hydraulic modeling capabilities. Once submitted, other users vote on the ideas. Our product and development teams use these suggestions from users to build out roadmap and development cycles.
Building a better future
The water team at Autodesk is in the trenches with you, working to build a better future for the water industry. One of the ways we’re ensuring that the future in water is bright is by delivering better value, efficiency, capabilities, and outcomes within the solutions you already know and love.
We’ve made some big strides in the last few years with this public roadmap approach, and we hope you’ve been noticing all of the hard work. We know that customers of any engineering software can sometimes delay in updating to the latest version, but we hope that our transparent approach to our software will help you conquer any fears of the unknown and encourage you to update to the latest versions and take advantage of all of these great new features.
