    Description

In more complicated designs users can see efficiency gains in using customized subassemblies that do the work of multiple assembly regions. In this lab users will experience using Subassembly Composer to create a subassembly that uses a Decision function to facilitate multiple end conditions along a design with a single assembly or region. Then, using that custom subassembly in Civil 3D, we will use the Corridor Transition tools to adjust the design with a high level of control.

    Key Learnings

    • Implement the Decision function to the custom subassembly to accommodate multiple end conditions.
    • Learn how to implement the Switch function to the custom subassembly.
    • Learn how to load and use the custom subassembly in a Civil 3D project.
    • Learn how to control the custom subassembly with the Corridor Transition tool.
