Interactive Visualization and Design for Social Impact

Julieta Moradei shares how the nonprofit New Story is innovating to help solve the global housing crisis.

Experts estimate that 20% of the global population—roughly 1.6 billion people—lack access to adequate housing. But just building more homes won’t be enough to solve the problem. We need to innovate in order to build better, faster, and at less cost. Julieta Moradei and her team at the nonprofit New Story are working to end global homelessness by bringing emerging technologies like augmented reality and 3D printing to the communities that need housing most.
