Valentin Koch joined Autodesk, Inc., in 2010 to help create the new road and highway optimization service. He is the product owner of the InfraWorks 360 optimization services, and he is architect of the optimization algorithms. Valentin previously worked as a consultant in operations research and optimization. He holds an MSc in mathematics and a BSc in mathematics and computer science. Valentin has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals about subjects that are related to optimization and operations research, including applications in road design optimization and resource allocations for road construction.
Edmundo Herrera is a subject matter expert for Autodesk, Inc.'s, civil engineering applications (including AutoCAD Civil 3D software, InfraWorks LT software, InfraWorks 360 software, Navisworks software, Revit Structural software, Navisworks software, and ReCap software), providing specialized engineering functionality in conjunction with AutoCAD software’s design tools. Herrera is responsible for presales presentations of Autodesk’s civil engineering products, as well as development of techniques for improving and optimizing customer’s daily workflows. He has also been responsible for civil-engineering software deployments in several departments of transportation, and in private and public companies in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East for more than 18 years.
Dong Yang is principal UX designer at Autodesk. With his user research and GIS background, Dong has worked on a number of Autodesk IPG products, including Autodesk Map 3D, Topobase, Raster Design and Utility Design. Now he is on a couple of agile development teams, providing user interface design and conducting user research for key components that go into Autodesk InfraWorks 360.
