In this session, we'll explore Generative Design for additive, casting, and CNC manufacturing. We'll discuss the different applications of this technology and apply these to a range of industry problems from automotive, aerospace, and architecture. We will cover the complete end-to-end workflow utilising Generative Design all the way through to manufacturing for each method. We will also look beyond today's Generative Design to the work we are doing to integrate this technology into the factory of the future. We will explore some of the scientific research we are undertaking to continuously improve Generative Design and some of the methodologies being considered for a digitised reconfigurable additive manufacturing facility. Attendees will leave with a familiarity of the generative design process from a basic through to an advanced level, manufacturing, and also gain insight into the work being carried out on future digitised additive manufacturing factories.
