Autodesk University 2009 Classes

View a draft of the AU 2009 class schedule. AU 2009 registration is scheduled to go live in a few weeks. With the help of 20,000 public votes and a large team of industry experts, we whittled down over 1,600 proposals to approximately 550 sessions. With repeat classes (which will be scheduled later), AU 2009 will have over 650 sessions, giving attendees more options and greater accessibility to learning content. AU classes are scheduled differently this year. Rather than spreading content over 3 1/2 days, we are building a very intense learning experience spread over 3 full days. AU will star... READ MORE >

AU 2009 Classes

Finally, classes for AU 2009 are selected. We had over 1600 submissions and with the help of over 20,000 votes from the AU community, we chose 585 classes. Sessions divided into 18 tracks that cover almost every Autodesk product Five PowerTracks for “deep-diving” into all major industries that Autodesk c... READ MORE >

A Sad Day for the Autodesk University Community

Today is a sad day for the Autodesk University community because we have lost one of our own. Mark Roach, who taught our popular Express Tools class at AU 2007 and AU 2008 has passed away. Mark was one of our top speakers—very enthusiastic and always willing to help his students (or anyone, for that matter). If you were fortunate to have been one of his 500 students, you no doubt knew what a talented individual he really was. We extend our sympathies to Mark’s family and friends. He died much too young and he will truly be missed. -- The AU Team READ MORE >

Are You Going to Autodesk University?

We asked this question in our recent AU Poll on the Autodesk University Online homepage. In the survey results, 31% of the responses were positive, and those respondents said they will likely be at AU 2009.  Another 19% know at this point that they will not be at AU this year. For 50% of those who completed the survey, it is still a toss-up if they will make it to the conference in Las Vegas this year.  Of course, this is not a scientific survey, but rather it’s more of a reading of the pulse of the AU community.  AU 2009 Call for Proposals (CFP) to speak at the conference is ...
