Top Ten Reasons to Speak at AU 2011
The AU Team is working furiously behind the scenes to plan this year's events. If you've ever thought about becoming an AU speaker, this is a good time to start plotting your way to the podium for AU 2011. Whether you're a newbie or a veteran, start thinking now about the class or classes you want to present at AU 2011. The official Call for Proposals will be out in March. In the meantime, here are the top ten reasons to be an AU 2011 speaker.

AU Extension Brings Local Flavor to an International Community
Autodesk University Extension is well into its second month and exciting local events have taken place all over the globe. Autodesk Channel partners hosted 251 AU Extension events during the month of December, and approximately 150 more events are scheduled to happen through February 12. There’s still time to sign up for an event near you. So what is AU Extension? AU Extension events combine expert-led classes recorded at AU Virtual 2010 with live, on-site presentations by local experts. And the Speaker Award Goes to…
Autodesk University is pleased to announce the winners of the AU 2010 Speaker Awards. These highly-coveted awards go to the speakers who receive the highest scores from AU attendees based on surveys completed after the class, either by email or using the kiosks at the conference. The surveys included questions about both content and presentation.
Hands-On Lab. This award goes to the speaker with the highest rating for a hands-on lab class.
