Building a Sustainable Future: Insights at AU 2025

The push for sustainability isn’t slowing down; it’s accelerating. Around the world, people are rethinking how they design, build, and create to protect our planet’s future. But real progress takes more than good intentions—it takes fresh ideas, proven solutions, and a community committed to action. That’s why gathering in one place to share, learn, and inspire each other matters more than ever.

The world needs bold ideas and practical solutions, and the people ready to make them happen. At AU 2025, you can do both—sustainability will be everywhere at the conference. From the classroom to the mainstage, from the keynotes to the exhibits in the Expo, explore new ways to drive impact in your projects and processes, and learn what we’re doing to reduce the impact of your week in Nashville.  Register now and join us.

Autodesk Foundation

Autodesk Foundation celebrates 10th anniversary

Ten years ago the Autodesk Foundation was created with a dual purpose: enabling impact across Autodesk through employee giving, volunteering, and software donations; and catalyzing industry innovation by investing in a portfolio of nonprofits and startups. Reflecting on the last decade, the Autodesk Foundation leadership will host a panel on innovation and impact with Buro Happold Foundation, Last Energy, and Stacks + Joules, From risk to reality: Using corporate philanthropy to de-risk industry innovation. Insights and evidence of impact from the last decade are surfaced in the Autodesk Foundation’s Decade of Impact report, which will be available digitally at AU.

Welcome Social volunteering opportunity

In honor of Autodesk Foundation’s 10th Anniversary, the Welcome Social includes a volunteering opportunity with Hands On, United Way. Hands On partners with emergency services and local nonprofits to coordinate volunteer efforts for disaster preparedness, relief, and recovery across Middle Tennessee. Attendees will assemble 700+ disaster prep kits.

Sustainability Leaders Summit

Are you a sustainability leader at your organization? If so, email us to let us know you are interested in attending this private event hosted by Autodesk Chief Sustainability Officer Joe Speicher. A select cohort will convene to discuss and explore the challenges, solutions, and opportunities that the climate crisis presents.
