That’s a wrap on AU London 2019 at Tobacco Dock. The event was a smashing success, as the Brits might say. If you were there, you witnessed what makes this learning community extraordinary—over 2,000 people representing more than 46 countries attended. From construction to manufacturing to media, industry professionals joined experts and leaders for 2 days of new ideas, networking, community, and growth.
Here are just a few highlights:
Building on data—The first-ever AU London Connect & Construct Summit occurred on Monday, June 17. More than 300 participants took a deep dive into data and how to keep it at the center of every process, from design and construction to building operations and management.
Opening Keynote—Sam Ramji and Erin Bradner delivered a rousing Tuesday Opening Keynote on the opportunity of better. Watch it whenever you’re ready.
Industry Keynote—The Industry Keynote featured Lisa Campbell, Nicolas Mangon, Vanessa Bertollini, Greg Fallon, and Marti Deans addressing automation and the skills gap and industry opportunities. Watch it on demand.
Ready to roam—Attendees were given a glimpse of a new space-aware robot, designed to navigate around construction sites unguided to monitor progress.
Construction revolution—International construction company MACE shared a peek behind the curtain of their “rising factory,” an entirely new approach to construction. Check it out.
