We’re getting pretty excited for this year’s Autodesk University Las Vegas (November 15-17 at the Venetian Las Vegas), and we hope you are too. To help you prep, here’s some info:
While registration is open from now through the conference, when you sign up by October 9, you save $425. Plus, when you register early, you’ll have access to the group rates we’ve arranged at some of the hotels in the area, and you’ll be able to beat the rush and register for the classes that fill up fast. For everything you need to know about registering (including student, educator, and group pricing), check out the Registration page.
We know you’re psyched about dropping by the AutoCAD booth (and we’re excited to meet you), but what do you want to learn when you’re not exploring the exhibit hall? As of right now, there are 169 classes on AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and more (and we’re not even counting AutoCAD 360!). Here are a few highlights:
In this class, a panel of experts from Autodesk product support will share tips and tricks to help you become more productive, and they’ll answer questions from the audience about real-time problems.
Your drawings are a potential gold mine of information. Learn how to get the most out of your AutoCAD software drawings using the powerful Data Extraction tool.
The Grand Paris Express (GPE) is a major automated metro infrastructure project in Paris, with a new 200-kilometer tunnel line. The maintenance site (depot) is a key structure in a limited space inserted into a dense urban environment. This situation leads to numerous challenging conflicts between the rail and building design.
We will fill this class with 3D tips and tricks that you can use to increase your productivity immediately!
Explore new possibilities for AutoCAD software drawing experiences on futuristic devices like HoloLens, Surface Hub, Continuum, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
So you’ve registered, booked your classes, and planned your visit to the AutoCAD booth, but have you taken Heidi Hewett’s (super quick) AutoCAD survey? We promise there’s a very cool reason we’re asking, but for the moment we’re still keeping it under wraps. The more responses we get, the better the surprise!
Whether you’ve attended AU before or this is your first year, our own Shaan Hurley has some tips to help you prepare for the event. Sure, this one is from last year, but the wisdom he shares is always relevant!
Check back with us throughout the fall for more information on the AutoCAD experience at AU Las Vegas 2016, and chime in now in the comments to tell us what you’re looking forward to most.
