Two years ago, Skanska developed an Asset Management Information Strategy service offering, largely in response to clients and owners starting to ask questions about (and in some cases, requiring deliverables aligned to) achieving day-one operational readiness for their computer-aided facility management (CAFM) and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) technology. In our journey, we’ve encountered an infinite number of client-operational environments, from spreadsheets and email to significant investments in complex CAFM, CMMS, and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and Building Management System (BMS) platforms. What we’ve learned is that regardless of the destination facilities management environment, all of these conversations start with developing an information strategy. Join us as we discuss common pitfalls and lessons learned with organizing asset data for the end in mind. Representatives from Skanska and Autodesk, Inc., will explore real-life examples of information strategies for asset management in action. This session features Building Ops, BIM 360 Field, and Revit. AIA Approved
