Description
In this class, we cover many of the more advanced simulation workflows, physics, and ways of interpreting the results. The class discusses stress analysis of assemblies subjected to complex loadings and contact conditions. We cover modal frequency analysis and how to interpret the results using mass participation factors. We examine thermal analysis and multiphysics for thermal-stress coupling using CFD-calculated temperatures. We talk about buckling load factors and fatigue analysis of complex loading sequences and results interpretation. Finally, we put all the results together through the Decision Center and Comparison environment.
Key Learnings
- Set up complex loading and contact conditions for accurate stress analysis of assemblies
- Effectively extract relevant information for dynamic response of your model
- Set up and analyze various thermal-stress coupling problems
- Use the Decision Center and Comparison environment built into Sim 360
