Local or Offshore - Choosing the right Supplier as a Startup

This session will cover supplier selection and development.  The session is aimed at startups looking into their first manufacturing run and considering whether to produce locally or offshore, mainly focusing on the China option.  The session will cover the basics of approaching suppliers, vetting suppliers, and choosing that key first production partner. It will also address the more detailed questions you should ask to vet your supply chain and get to know your production partner.  The session will address how to choose production location given your startup's stage, funding, and other risk factors.
