See a practical example demonstrating how our customer Vimek AB integrates the built-in simulation and calculations tools in Autodesk® Product Design Suite as a natural part of their mechanical design process, starting with the conceptual phase. This class gives you easy-to-use-and-adopt examples covering free body diagramming, early conceptual dynamic simulations that will give you the most important sizing factors of the final design even before you have created a single new 3D solid! The class also covers how you use the reaction forces from the motion to perform finite element analysis (FEA) calculations and optimizations.
- Use free body diagramming
- List the advantages of the early simulation
- Integrate simulations and FEA
- Optimize and evaluate numerous design options
David joined the Autodesk Distribution 8 years ago. Right form the start he had a passion for all kinds of simulation and picked up technologies along the way. As a technical specialist he visits a lot of companies to advise them on improvements on their workflow using a brought Autodesk portfolio, mainly, but not only focusing on simulation. He also delivers trainings to the resellers in Europe to get the complete channel up and running.
