Apply to Speak at AU London 2018—Call for Proposals Closes January 31
AU London 2018 itself doesn’t go down until June 19-20. But the deadline to apply to speak at this year’s event is coming up at the end of the month. So if you’re of a mind, you might want to jump on that.

And the Award Goes to…: Top-Rated Sessions from AU Las Vegas 2017
AU isn’t a popularity contest—far from it. Every speaker offers something unique and plays an important part in our learning community. (Every attendee, too.)

At AU, we’re here to support your professional growth in any way we can. You might say it’s our “thing.” Whether you’re interested in devel...

Drilling a tunnel under the Chesapeake Bay using a machine the length of a football field? It’s just another day on the job for AU speaker Jon Servedio. As a senior specialist in BIM at Mott MacDonald, he’s part of the team planning the $756 million Parallel Thimble Shoal Tunnel Project, which involves adding a new 2-lane tunnel to an existing passage—without disrupting traffic. Construction is due to begin later this year.
Jon spoke at AU 2017 about his experience with the project and shared his insights on how to put together a BIM execution plan for an infrastructure project of thi...

Looking Back, Looking Ahead: AU 2017 in Review
And just like that, 2017 has come to a close. Sure enough, it was another year of transformation, exploration, and integration, with technology reshaping our processes and creating new possibilities. And for the people who work in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, design, manufacturing, and media, it was another year of challenge and change—but also incredible opportunity.
In other words, the only thing that isn’t changing is that things are changing fast. Adaptation is what we do, and learning is part of the job.
As we get ready for what 2018 brings, here are a few of...
