Announcing the Winners of the AU 2009 You Tube Contest!
We asked and you responded—with thoughtful, delightful, and very creative videos about why you want to attend the Autodesk University 2009 Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas. Next, the AU community stepped up to the task and voted for their favorite entries. After thousands of views on YouTube and hundreds of votes on Facebook from the AU community, we had our winners—Laura Wood, Joe Lee, and Thomas McMillan. Introducing Autodesk University Virtual: Connect and Explore—Like Never Before
Few learning opportunities can match the AU conference in Las Vegas. It’s an ideal environment for hands-on training and face-to-face interaction with peers and experts from your industry and from Autodesk. Since collecting questions live from the audience on-site would slow down the session and doesn’t afford the presenters much time to consider your questions, we are looking for direction in advance from you ahead of time. Your participation now will help all the presenters focus their comments on your conc...

Not only is AU a great place to advance your learning, but also your professional standing. Many of the AEC sessions offered at AU are qualified through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for continuing education credits (CEUs), and some qualify for Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) credits. And this year is no exception. AIA continuing education credits will be offered this year at AU 2009 in Las Vegas. This week we received the first round of sessions approved for credits. The rest should arrive next week and I’ll be posting all approved classes on the “How to Obtain Professional C...
