Lab Assistants Needed for AU 2012

Update 10/19/2012: All lab assistant positions have been filled. Thank you for your interest.  AU 2012 will feature more than 70 hands-on labs. These are some of the most popular sessions at AU. Each lab has an instructor and 3 lab assistants. Do you want to be a lab assistant? Lab assistants receive $75 for each lab they assist in. They do not receive a free AU Conference Pass. It’s hard to believe, but there are only 3 weeks left to submit your proposals for AU Virtual. We know many of you have the perfect idea for a class and we want to hear from you. Calling All AU Virtual Proposals

The AU Virtual 2012 Call for Proposals (CFP) is open, and we are eagerly awaiting your submissions. Do you have an idea for a class that you didn’t have time to submit for AU in Las Vegas? Or maybe the proposal you submitted for AU Las Vegas wasn’t selected. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a great idea—we had a record number of submissions this year, and there are many good classes that we just couldn’t fit into the curriculum. AU Speaker Hopefuls Submit a Record Number of Class Proposals

The AU 2012 in Las Vegas Call for Proposals (CFP) closed May 22. Potential AU speakers submitted 2008 proposals prior to the deadline. Last year, we received about 1900 submissions for the Las Vegas conference, making 2012 a record-breaking year. Some people sent us one proposal; some people sent us a lot. The proposals came from 1072 individuals. Of those, 838 people sent one or two. Three of our most prolific proposers submitted more than 10 potential classes, labs, panels, or roundtables.
