AU 2013 Keynote Address: The Answer Is Outside

It seems appropriate that Penn and Teller opened this year’s keynote address with a magic trick (making Autodesk’s Jonathan Knowles’ glasses appear inside a box on top of Teller’s head), because what followed was truly magical.  This year’s theme, The Answer Is Outside, dazzled attendees with new perspectives, innovations, and technologies. Freshman Orientation Draws 1,000 Attendees

AU is such a huge event that first-time attendees can get overwhelmed. Thankfully, the Freshman Orientation, which was such a success in its previous 2 years, returned to help newbies get the most from the conference. More than 76% of those who attended this session were first-timers. Thank you, mentors! A hearty thank you to those who signed up to be mentors at each of the tables.
