Everything you need to know about AU 2026 registration

AU 2026: The Design & Make Conference returns to Las Vegas September 15–17 at the Venetian Convention & Expo Center, bringing together the people, technology, and ideas shaping the future of Design and Make.

And this year, there’s a lot to talk about.

AI is reimagining how work gets done across industries. Teams are under pressure to move faster while managing growing complexity. Data is everywhere but connecting it in meaningful ways is still a challenge. At the same time, the lines between industries, roles, and workflows continue to blur.

That's where AU comes in.

Across 500+ classes, hands-on labs, keynotes, and networking events, you’ll see how Autodesk experts and creators like you are approaching real challenges across architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media and entertainment, and beyond. You’ll hear about how teams are evolving in their workflows, and where they are seeing measurable impact from AI, connected data, and more integrated ways of working.

But the moments people remember most at AU often happen between sessions. It happens in the conversations, ideas, and connections that happen throughout the week. You may run into someone solving the same problem you are or see a workflow demo that completely changes how you think about a process. You’ll likely leave a class with three new ideas your team wants to try immediately. Or maybe you’ll finally meet people face to face that you’ve only known through LinkedIn comments.

That’s what makes AU different, and why it continues to be the premier conference for the global Design & Make Community.

What you’ll find at AU 2026

Expect a packed schedule and probably more bookmarked sessions than you can realistically attend.

Whether you want to explore AI-powered workflows, dive into technical best practices, learn how teams are connecting data across projects, or simply talk shop with people who understand the work you do every day, AU offers opportunities to do it all in one place.

While many attendees come for the learning, a lot end the week saying the connections were the most valuable part.

Three themes you’ll see across the conference

1. Experience AI in Action:

This isn’t theoretical AI or vague promises about the future. See practical examples of how teams are using AI to reduce repetitive work, explore design options faster, improve decision-making, and identify problems earlier in the process. Many of these workflows are grounded in real project conditions, from geometry and materials to constructibility and performance.

2. Intelligent Data:

Every project generates data. Learn how to get the most out of it. See how organizations are connecting information across teams and lifecycle stages to improve visibility, reduce surprises, and make faster, more confident decisions.

3. Integrated Workflows:

Work no longer happens in silos, even if the software sometimes still does. Explore how organizations are reducing friction between teams, improving coordination, and creating more connected workflows across design, construction, manufacturing, operations, and beyond.

Need help making your case to attend?

We made that easier too.

Our Convince Your Manager toolkit includes resources to help you build your case, estimate costs, and plan your experience before you even arrive in Vegas.

You’ll find:

  • A customizable approval email template
  • A cost calculator
  • Planning resources to help map out your week and get the most out of AU 2026

Platform Leadership Forum returns

The Platform Leadership Forum is back for AU 2026!

Taking place on Monday, September 14, this pre-conference event is available as an add-on option for Full Conference Pass holders. Designed for technology leaders, developers, and platform innovators focused on AI and digital transformation, this half-day experience features an opening session, business and technical lightning talks, and an MCP workshop. Space is limited and it’s expected to sell out. If you’re interested, be sure to add it to your pass when you register.

Register early and save

Register now and save $250 on a Full Conference Pass before prices increase on August 4.

We’re also excited to announce available airline discounts from Southwest Airlines and United Airlines for our attendees.

We can’t wait to see the Design and Make community back together in Las Vegas this September.
