AU 2025 Call for Proposals is Open! 

The future of the design and make industries is being written right now—and we want to hear your groundbreaking innovations and insights at AU 2025. Visionaries like you are transforming our world with the latest advancements in AI, climate resilience, digital twin technology, connected data, and extended reality. This is your chance to contribute to a transformative experience and help shape the future of our industries. 

 

AU 2025 Call for Proposals is now open, and we invite you to share your insights, breakthroughs, and best practices with the global community. Whether you elect to participate in the Digital experience or join us in Nashville, don’t miss your opportunity to showcase how you're shattering limitations in Design and Make, delivering sustainable solutions that matter, and building the future. 

 

What’s new for AU 2025? 

For the first time, AU 2025 will be held in Nashville, a city that embodies the spirit of creativity and innovation. From September 16-18, join us in this vibrant hub to explore the future of design, engineering, construction, and beyond. Connect with your community and be part of the movement to redefine what's possible. 

 

This year’s session type options include: Industry Talk, Case Study, Technical Instruction, Product Demo, Panel, Hands-on Labs, and Ask the Expert (Digital only). We’ve also introduced a new 20-minute session format option for select sessions to increase the flexibility of your proposals. Call for Proposals: March 20 – April 17 

We're looking for diverse perspectives and fresh ideas. From practical tips and tricks to comprehensive end-to-end workflows, big-picture insights, and ongoing innovations, we want to hear how you’re creating new possibilities for the Design and Make industries. Submit your proposals for AU 2025 from March 20 through April 17. 

 

How to Submit a Proposal 

  • Visit the Call for Proposals page on the AU website to access all necessary resources. 
     
  • Review the Call for Proposals Guide to ensure your proposal aligns with the priorities and topics of this year’s conference. 
     
  • Check out sample proposals to understand what makes a strong submission. 
     
  • Download the Proposal Worksheet to draft your ideas before submitting. 
     
  • Submit your proposal using the online form. Note that you can edit submitted proposals up until the April 17 deadline.

AU 2025 will be a hybrid conference this year: an in-person experience in Nashville, TN, and a virtual digital experience—all from September 16-18.
