Survey the Industry: Infrastructure Lunch & Learns at AU
AU provides ample opportunity to dive deep into industry topics and trends, connect to your peers, and hear from today’s leadership. This year, we’ve integrated the Transportation Summit for the civil engineering community into the broader AU experience.
One way we’re doing that? With a series of informative lunch & learns featuring presentations by industry experts and Autodesk product teams. These luncheons will showcase real customer projects and plans while focusing on what’s next for the industry.
Come get a glimpse of what’s new and what’s ahead for the tools of your trade and break bread with people who do what you do.

One Year After the Esri-Autodesk Alliance Was Announced—Where Are They Now?
Wednesday, November 14, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Last year at AU Las Vegas, Autodesk and Esri, the leading maker of geographic information systems (GIS) software, announced an important partnership that will eventually create a bridge between BIM and GIS mapping technologies and enable seamless data sharing. As Andrew Anagnost said at the time, “It will enable teams to connect the data of what—the models you create—with the data of where.” At this lunchtime session teams from both companies will share their progress, demonstrate new workflows and product integrations, and show you how to do more with geospatial intelligence.
BIM for Civil Structures—Bridges and Tunnels Come into Focus
Thursday, November 15, noon-1:30 p.m.
How can you take your bridge and tunnel designs to the next level? Enjoy lunch and learning as the product team developing bridge and tunnel functionality shares updates, workflows, and what’s ahead. Looking for more like this? The Complete Collaboration in Civil Engineering Tailored Experience combines learning sessions and conference events that you won’t want to miss.
