Plan ahead—put Autodesk Certification on your AU schedule
Autodesk University is about many things: honing software skills, making industry connections, exploring breakthrough trends, and driving change. Most of all it’s about pushing yourself forward, onward, and upward. That’s why AU offers free Autodesk Certification exams on the latest versions of many Autodesk products—last year over 1,500 AU attendees took exams.
Becoming an Autodesk Certified Professional validates your skills and gives you a competitive edge. As a credential that’s recognized throughout the industries Autodesk serves, it’s a great way to enhance your resume and boost your career. This year we wanted to make it even easier for you to make the most of your time at AU. That’s why we’re excited to announce:
When you register for AU 2016, you can also sign up to take a certification exam.
Scheduled exam sessions will be available on Monday, November 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, November 15-17, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Be sure to sign up when you register for AU as space is limited. Only 1 exam is allowed during AU per person and you’re limited to 1 attempt—so it’s a wise idea to prepare before you get to Las Vegas.
We’re offering scheduled exam sessions as a bit of a pilot this year—we know nobody likes waiting in line, missing out on other great AU opportunities, and we hope this is a step forward. However, we’re also still offering walk-in exam sessions on Tuesday, November 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and on Wednesday and Thursday, November 16 and 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-in exam sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 1 exam is allowed during AU per person and you’re limited to 1 attempt.
All Autodesk Certification exams are now offered through Certiport, so you’ll need a Certiport profile if you want to take a certification exam at AU this year. If you’re new to Certiport, you can set up your profile in advance by visiting the Certiport registration page. This will allow you to focus on your exam at AU.
Be sure to bring your photo ID to the check-in area and leave personal items including laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and other electronic devices in the secure bag-check. You have up to 2 hours to complete the exam.
