New classes added to meet demand

As people register for AU and make their class selections, some classes are filling up. As classes fill, the AU team works to move them into larger rooms or to add repeat classes when instructors and rooms are available. Currently, only a handful of unrepeated the classes are full, and there are 50 to 60 things happening at any given time, so we are sure that you will find valuable classes and events to attend. If you have an extra hour, sample a class from a different industry, visit the lounges, or have some of those great AU hallway conversations.

Some of the most popular classes that fill up are hands-on labs and roundtable sessions. Labs require that a computer is available for each two attendees and roundtable sessions are facilitated group discussions, so these classes are necessarily smaller—with roundtables capped at 29. We've added quite a few more roundtables this year, often as followup sessions to lecture classes, so that those most interested in a topic can dive deeper and share knowledge.

To meet demand, we have added repeat classes for several labs and roundtables:

AB3877-L Autodesk® Revit® Architecture—Cloud!
AB3880-R Autodesk® Building Design Suite: BIM Roundtable
AC3878-L Annotation Scaling in AutoCAD®: Bringing the Technology Home
BO3904-R New Technologies and Their Impact on the Bottom Line
CM3911-L Introduction to Visual Basic® for Applications for Autodesk® AutoCAD®
MA3910-L Autodesk® Inventor® Simplification: Lean Assembly Processes
MP3882-R Autodesk® Revit® MEP Tips and Tricks for BIM Managers

We continue to add classes as we work with instructors and juggle logistics to make sure that you have the best AU experience possible. Stay tuned!

Even though you may not be able to sign up for a class in advance, it is likely you can still attend. Simply go to the class—there are often enough no-shows that you will be able to get a seat.
