Class Selection for AU Las Vegas 2018 Is Complete

And here we are—another year, another incredible batch of class proposals submitted for AU Las Vegas. The community voted and our partners, collaborators, and internal teams provided their input. And now the decisions have been made.

These are not easy decisions, mind you. There were more than 2,200 proposals submitted, and we have room for fewer than 700 classes at the event. Far more amazing class ideas came in than we can fit into the 3 days. Notifications have gone out to those whose classes have been selected. Congratulations—we look forward to you having you as part of this year’s event.

To all who weren’t selected, we want to thank you for putting in the time and energy, the creativity and commitment. Your experience matters and it showed in your work. Remember that just because you weren’t selected doesn’t mean your proposal didn’t have merit. We hope you’ll submit again in years to come. And don’t forget that there are things you can do now and over the next year to improve your chances—by raising your profile in your industry; by seeking out other platforms for sharing your insight, knowledge, and experience; and by participating actively in the AU community online. Most importantly, we look forward to seeing you at AU 2018 in November. Your voice is integral—that’s what we mean when we say you are AU.
