AU Virtual 2011 Winning Speakers Announced

We’re very pleased to announce the winners of the AU 2011 Speaker Award for best AU Virtual class. This year we had a tie. Congratulations to Luciana Klein from Brazil and Christian Salgado from Colombia.

The winning classes, one in Portuguese, the other in Spanish are:

Luciana Klein
Luciana has an strong background in AutoCAD®. She has been an AutoCAD specialist since Version 14. Luciana is a member of AUGI Brasil, and is a full collaborator of the Autodesk Brasilian community. She also has experience as an AutoCAD beta tester.

Christian Salgado 
Christian is founder of Area4D and acts as a consultant for different Autodesk® products in Latin America.

Those who joined us on AU Virtual may remember that attendees could complete a survey while watching a virtual class. They were asked to rate the class in five categories. To be included in the judging, a class needed to receive a minimum of six responses. For each class, we calculated the average rating for each category. On a scale of 5, the winning classes scored 4.94 out of 5.

Thanks to all the AU Virtual speakers for contributing to the success of AU Virtual and I look forward to working with you again on AU Virtual 2012. Thanks too to all who joined us online. Your enthusiasm for AU Virtual classes was also a major contribution to the event’s success.
