AU PowerTracks: Find Out What’s New About Them This Year
If you’re looking to really give your professional skills a boost, then consider signing up for one of this year’s PowerTracks. Classes within each PowerTrack cover either related progressive topics, industry processes, or common user methodologies, and many of them are taught by some of AU’s highest-rated instructors.
Besides some of the old favorites, AU 2009 is offering two new PowerTracks:
- CAD Management, which covers the typical "problem areas" that CAD managers must deal with everyday.
- Transportation, which focuses on the different phases of transportation projects beyond "field to finish".
And this year for the first time ever, each PowerTrack is divided into sub-tracks so as to provide an even tighter focus on the product or topic, offering in-depth training that you simply cannot get from taking a single class or by choosing related classes from the full AU catalog. This leaves room in your schedule for other classes.
Plus to help ensure you are prepared and at the level of knowledge you need for your PowerTrack, this year CADLearning has provided some short, intensive video tutorials that help you determine if you meet the class prerequisites.
You can access those videos from the class details page:
Besides the classes, AU PowerTrack attendees also have access to:
- Instructor welcome and detailed recorded podcasts that provide a greater understanding and more details about the topics that will be covered in the class.
- Participation in daily unplugged events with PowerTrack instructors, where you can ask questions in a more intimate setting.
So if you’ve been hesitating to sign up for PowerTracks because you thought they used too many of your class slots, or you were concerned that they might be too advanced for you, this year just might be the right time to take advantage of this unique learning opportunity.
