Zelture, defining “a new culture of design", is not limited to providing content and live, working interactive virtual platforms for revision and calibration, but works to create virtual twinning and asset lifecycle optimization as a simple by-product of considering all project defining design content, not being limited to regional format limitations or software capabilities.

Currently, Zelture's projects are more focused on the creation of as-built drawings from scans or "point clouds". Their primary challenge is finding seamless interoperability among the software used which is central to the design completion time.

Observing that there is a converging point between the virtual design phase and physical build phase, it is clear that there is an ever increasing need to deliver high quality design content, aiding the focus on sustainable, economically right sized and environmentally appropriate solutions, thereby ensuring the original design or concept is not compromised, but optimized. 

This is where Zelture, through a deep understanding of the multiple disciplines and layers of content required globally, ensures that design and build are performed seamlessly and predictably.

Zelture now mainly uses Revit for production, Navisworks for clash detection, and Recap for point cloud conversions. They switched from using other software which makes it hard to use because of interoperability. 

Since their latest projects are more focused on the creation of as-built drawings from scans or "point clouds", their current workflow is Recap to Revit to Navisworks and back to Revit. First, they produce RCP and RCS files from Recap software. Then, they import the RCS and RCP files into Revit to start production process. After they finish all the required models in all trades, they prepare the Navisworks files out of Revit files. If clashes are detected on the models after performing clash detection in Navisworks, file is switched back to Revit for troubleshoot to redo the test on the clashes. It's very common for 3D models to clash immediately after they've been coordinated. Previously, their team used a Revit-built interference check. Although technically acceptable, visually it’s unacceptable and time-consuming to locate those clashing elements. Because of this, their team decided to integrate the use of Navisworks into their workflow.

With the help of Challenge Systems Inc, Zelture was able to adopt Revit, Naviswork and Recap in their workflow. Creating a solution that improves their design completion turn-around time by 80% now. 

Integrating Navisworks in their workflow has given them more options, flexibility and accurate results. Report and deliverable are also visually acceptable and presentable. The seamless interoperability with other software like Revit and Recap, makes their workflows 80% more efficient and fast.

Navisworks, Revit and Recap made a huge impact on Zelture's production. These software improved their deliverable's presentability, accuracy, with additional security on the file. The newly adopted workflow has given them 80% improvement in design completion turnaround time giving Zelture the opportunity to accept more projects and finishing them in shorter amount of time.
