The AECO industry continues to face serious challenges around skilled labor, supply chains, decarbonization, and siloed data. Embracing new technologies and transformation is helping businesses tackle these challenges head on to achieve better outcomes. In this session, our AECO leaders will share the latest updates for the business, including news across our industry cloud and product portfolio, and stories of customers who are innovating to Make the Future. Join us to learn how Autodesk Forma is helping facilitate better collaboration, quicker project delivery and better outcomes.
AEC Futures Briefing: Architecture
Curious about the road ahead for Autodesk's product and service offerings for architects? Join Autodesk product and strategy managers for Revit software, Autodesk Forma software, and cloud collaboration to learn about new features and functionality supporting the capabilities and workflows you need to drive more-efficient, more-sustainable, and more-collaborative building design and construction projects.
Digital Considerations for a Circular Future
This session will demonstrate how we at 3XN/GXN facilitate this interplay in a world of increased deliverables, faster timelines, and smaller teams. We will explore how we have adopted open-source concepts—inspired by GitHub—democratized interoperability where software expertise is limited, and implemented a naming system to lay the groundwork for a software-agnostic future.
AEC Vision and Strategy
Explore the industry trends and macro-economic conditions shaping the future of AEC technology. Learn from product and strategy leaders what Autodesk is doing to support AEC excellence and innovation, while evolving the portfolio of software your design and construction teams trust to get the job done.

Closing the Gap: Establishing a Collaboration Loop Between Software Developers and Practitioners
Collaboration between software developers and practitioners is necessary and a key driver of success in today's fast-paced technological landscape. This panel discussion will explore this intricate relationship, offering valuable insights and strategies for a structured collaboration loop.
The State of Design and Make: A Conversation on AI, Sustainability and Resilience
From the increasing role of AI in industry and the challenges of upskilling workers to the need to improve sustainability while maintaining business resilience, join experts and leaders from across the Design and Make industries for a panel discussion of the findings from the 2024 State of Design and Make Report and get a sneak peek at preliminary findings for 2025.
Business Resilience in the Digital Age
Innovation requires change not just from each of us as individuals, but also from organizations. Learn how companies from across the Design and Make industries have broken down boundaries between teams, restructured hierarchies, empowered people, encouraged professional development, and adapted to the challenges and opportunities of transformation to create businesses that are more resilient, more collaborative, and more competitive.
Artificial Intern: Let the Robots Get the Coffee
Much has been made of the existential threat AI poses to many professions. However, due to the complex nature of architectural projects, we need not fear losing our design agency (or employment) to an AI architect. While there’s work over which architects want and need to maintain control, there’s also plenty of work that architects would gladly hand over to an AI bot. Using AI allows architects to focus on meaningful design work, rather than tedious minutiae. Also, by passing off more-menial tasks to AI, junior staff can be empowered to get more-meaningful experience.
Preserving the Past, Pioneering the Future
The past is the foundation for our present—and our potential. Whether you’re talking about existing structures that we can repurpose for the future, historical artifacts that can inform our understanding of ourselves today, or circular approaches to managing finite resources, learn how we can redefine concepts of waste, combine experience with current data to create new possibilities, and use new technologies and approaches to do more with what exists—and what existed long ago.
Learn From Case Studies and Classes Taught by Leading Industry Professionals
Leveraging Autodesk Forma to Expand the Understanding of Context and Development
This course will present a series of "how to" and “how come” case studies on using Forma to expand contextual understanding of architectural design. Where Revit excels at designing with the building envelop in, Forma excels at connecting building design to a broader context. Specifically, this is where working with Forma opens a new mode of architectural exploration with an emphasis on outcome-based design thinking.
Connecting BIM and Design: The Heatherwick Process
Building information modeling (BIM) platforms and design software have opposite strengths. To get the best from each, it’s beneficial to have them working in combination and complementing each other throughout the whole design phase. Doing so will also help bring BIM culture closer to designers, breaking the entrenched silos between the disciplines. Embracing designers in BIM allows for earlier implementation in the project and delays design freeze, as every iteration is captured in the federated model.
Architects and Engineers Will Save the World: Synergy Between Autodesk Forma, Revit, and InfraWorks
The integration of Autodesk Forma software, Revit software, and InfraWorks software provides a powerful suite of tools for urban-scale design planning and analysis. The bidirectional workflows between Forma and Revit enable seamless transitions from conceptual design and analysis to detailed modeling. Simultaneously, the integration with InfraWorks allows these designs to be incorporated into a broader environmental context, including infrastructure engineering.
Enhancing Sustainable Design with the Next Generation of Insight: A Case Study of Integrated Carbon Management
Faced with the growing demand for companies to measure and reduce carbon on projects, global architecture, engineering, and construction company GHD partnered with Autodesk to explore methodologies and implement an approach that allows the GHD architectural team to assess both embodied and operational carbon in an iterative way through the use of next-generation Insight software. Using our Revit models, next-generation Insight empowers our team to make more-informed decisions by analyzing and exploring alternate design considerations and their potential sustainable impacts.
Industry Alignment of BIM Data to Decarbonize Buildings
Let’s face it, emissions from the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry are too high and one of the key issues is there are no agreed-upon processes for measuring embodied carbon. Join this panel discussion to hear a deep dive into how a group of companies conducted a proof of concept (POC) to address this complexity.
