Allan McKay is an award-winning visual effects supervisor and technical director in Hollywood who has worked nearly 20 years worldwide for many leading studios, including Industrial Light and Magic, Blur Studio, Psyop, Frantic Films, Pixomondo, and Ubisoft. He has worked on many Hollywood blockbusters, including Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Superman Returns, 2012, The Last Airbender, Daybreakers, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Beautiful Creatures, and more recently, Looper and Robert Zemeckis's Flight, among dozens of others. Allan has received an Autodesk Max Master award, and he has been nominated for and has received numerous other awards, including Oscar, Emmy Award, and Promax. In addition to holding workshops and master classes at events around the world, he has held keynotes and lectures in person in front of more than 20,000 combined people.
