Chris Tschirhart is responsible for leading the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) for both Turner's Kansas City and Denver Business Units. He is a critical member of Turner's national BIM team and provides support to Turner 's BIM departments across the country. Chris has been in the construction industry for 14 years, and has worked as a project manager, estimator, and in self-perform concrete. His daily operational duties is out a the Replacement Medical Center, Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Aurora, CO for the new 13-building medical center campus to replace the VA Medical Center in Denver. The project consists of approximately 940,000 BGSF new buildings and 120,000 BGSF of renovations. Chris previously taught a graduate course on Virtual Design & Construction at the University of Kansas from 2008-2011. He holds a Masters' Degree in Construction Management from the University of Kansas and a M.B.A. from Rockhurst University.
