AU Las Vegas 2019 is coming up in just a few weeks. With the hundreds of classes and events, there are ample ways to build your industry knowledge and grow your community. Free Autodesk Certification exams and a new credentialing experience can help you take that next step in your career by demonstrating your product expertise and highlighting the skills necessary in your role.
Certification exams at AU
Autodesk Certification exams are available 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. each day of the conference, and 3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. during Monday’s preconferences. One exam is included with your Full Conference Pass. Sign up to take an exam on a specific software—from Revit to Inventor, Fusion 360 to Maya—and receive an industry-recognized certification demonstrating your proficiency. The Certification Lab areas are on Levels 3 and 4. Schedule your session when you register for AU.
A new credentialing pilot program
We’re also launching a new credentialing program at AU Las Vegas this year. While certification shows proficiency with a certain software, these credentials demonstrate proficiency with a specific process. This new program focuses on design and manufacturing professionals, and AU Las Vegas 2019 is currently the only place to participate and earn these unique credentials.
Design & Make for Machinists
This credential track consists of 3 classes focused on learning how to machine complex parts and molds with Fusion:
Design & Make for Engineers
This credential track consists of 3 Fusion-related classes focused on running a simulation analysis as part of a mechanical engineering workflow:
There are 2 separate options for completing this credential:
Take the Generative Design Bootcamp for Product Design and Manufacturing. This long-format class from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday gives you the skills needed to work with the theory, application, and evaluation of generative design.
Instead of the Generative Design Bootcamp, take a 3-class sequence. Choose 3 out of the 4 individual classes in the credential track:
To take part in the credential tracks, you need to join the Beta community. It’s your crucial feedback on the process that will help us create better learning experiences in the future. Whether you go for certification, a credential, or both, these are ways to wear your skills on your sleeve, show people what you know, and move your career forward.
