AU 2009 General Registration is Now Open
The first week of AU 2009 registration began with an enthusiastic bang! More than 1700 AU Online members registered, the majority of those in the first 3 days. Outside the USA, attendees from 24 countries have registered so far, with Canada, Australia, Germany, and the UK making up the bulk of international registrations.
So, if you haven’t registered yet, now is the time. General registration just opened. Here are the top 3 reasons to register early:
-
Get the Best Class Selection – With more than 640 multi-level classes and labs organized in 21 discipline-specific tracks, you have lots to choose from. BUT many offerings—nearly all of which are AU exclusives—fill up quickly.
-
Stay at the Most Convenient Location—The Mandalay Bay Hotel – Conference registrants are assigned rooms on a first-come, first-served basis at the conference hotel of their choice until all available rooms are filled. With classes and other activities happening at the Mandalay Bay, demand for rooms in this hotel will be high.
-
Save $500 on Your AU Registration Fee – Early-bird rates expire October 9, and the deadline will be here before you know it.
BTW, as many of you know, Joseph (a.k.a. Mr. AU) has headed off on his 5-week (maybe 6-week) sabbatical, but since there’s still lots to tell you about between now and his return, he’s asked me to keep you up-to-date on AU highlights and developments. I’ve been part of the AU Team for about 2 years, mostly working in the background as writer and editor. So look for more BLAUG postings as the weeks progress. I’ll be watching for your comments as you post them to the BLAUG and will do my best to respond quickly to your questions.
