Project goals

The RKAT Gemas Project kicked off early February 2021, collaboration between them and JKR. Arkitek M Azahari recognizes the communication challenge that came with our restriction to work in the lights of battling the pandemic. Their main goal is to be able to complete this project before 2026 dawns and adopting Autodesk BIM 360 Docs proves to be the solution they need to achieve that.

Solution

Pairing the Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering & Construction(AEC) Collection and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs allows Arkitek M Azahari to carry forward with this project despite unable to meet up with involved parties as often as before. While their Modeling Team utilizes Revit & AutoCAD to carry out their designs, their Documentation Team ensures the information and workflow within the project are properly uploaded, stored and shared within the Autodesk BIM 360 Cloud platform.

Business outcome

Arkitek M Azahari acknowledges that not only Data management using Autodesk BIM 360 Docs is possible, but also cloud work sharing amongst internal departments and JKR made collaboration easier. Although their Autodesk Revit usage is at an early adoption (migrating from Autodesk AutoCAD), they appreciate the steep learning curve as a chance to improve their already amazing workflow.
