Generative Design in Revit software was released last year for the first time in Revit 2021. This new suite of emerging tools enables generative design workflows that automate the creation and analysis of design options directly in the Revit context. Fusion 360 for Architects and Designers

While Fusion 360 is really focused on product design and development, there's many times this wonderfully useful, flexible, and affordable tool comes in handy when putting a building together! In this class we'll dive into using Fusion as a design tool for building elements, show some real-world examples of it's use on architecture projects, and talk about how to use Fusion along with Revit and other BIM tools as part of the overall construction project. I'll show examples of creative fabrication, generative design, FEA, sheet metal modeling, complex organic forms, and digital fabrication; all things Revit isn't so hot at but Fusion handles with ease. Big Innovyze for Small Town in Brazil

Big Innovyze for Small town in Brazil. A small town in the countryside of Brazil had one of its few tourist attractions impaired, generating a significant social and environmental impact, due to the rupture of the dam in Ayrton Senna Park. Schettini Engenharia understood that for this atypical situation, it would be necessary to bring together some strategic partners to develop the entire BIM solution with the help of GIS solutions, starting the first Smart City project in the region, as well as extracting the most from Autodesk and Innovyze solutions, aiming to adopt sustainable practices in its proposal, mitigating part of the damage caused by the rupture of this dam, and bringing better quality of life and safety to this community. In this challenging dam case study, you will learn the workflow between the following tools: Recap, Civil 3D, Revit, Docs, Navisworks, Unity, InfoDrainage and InfoWorks ICM.

This session will focus on the core ambitions and work of Women in BIM, focused on the uptake, history and global reach of this organisation over the last 10 years. As an industry group spanning 30 countries across the world, our members and regional leaders are all in place to support and encourage digital methods and processes to their projects and to their work. Women in BIM was founded in 2012 as a response to the lack of Women in BIM and Digital roles across the built environment and our main ambition is to ensure there is equal representation and a stronger focus on retaining Women across the industry on a global level. With more and more people moving into varying industries and organsations across the world focusing on retention the WIB group is more important than ever in encouraging and celebrating female role models across the world.
