Erin Bradner, Ph.D., is a Director and Research Scientist at Autodesk in the office of the CTO. Erin helped found the Generative Design practice at Autodesk and now manages AutodeskÕs Robotics Lab in San Francisco. Erin has led strategic research partnerships with institutes such as the U.S. National Laboratory in Livermore and NASA JPL to advance manufacturing automation. During her tenure at Autodesk Erin has led hundreds of research projects to identify the sweet spot where technology feasibility, viability and desirability meet. Erin has authored research in Human Computer Interaction with collaborators at IBM, Boeing and AT&T. She is a co-author on patents in advanced design, and holds a PhD in Information & Computer Science.
Andrew Anagnost has more than 25 years of product, business and marketing experience focused on driving strategy, transformation, and scale. As chief marketing officer and leader of the Business Strategy and Marketing organization, he is responsible for overall marketing direction and resources for the company as well as leading the companyÍs business model transformation and evolution. Prior to this role, Dr. Anagnost was vice president of the Product Suites, Web Services & Subscription (SWSS) organization where he drove strategy and business development for the Design Suite Family, Platform Cloud Services and the Subscription offering. He was later responsible for defining and driving the business model that is the keystone of the companyÍs three year growth strategy and the business lever that is helping to transform Autodesk from a desktop software provider to a SaaS solutions provider. Dr. Anagnost began his career at Autodesk in 1997. During the six years that followed, Dr. Anagnost assumed roles as director of marketing, director of new business development and director of product management _ all within the manufacturing solutions division. He then transitioned to the role of senior director of marketing in early 2003 and was promoted to senior director of CAD, CAE, and ETO products later that same year. In 2007, he was named Vice President of CAD/CAE products for the manufacturing solutions division where he drove the growth of Autodesk Inventor from $100 million to more than $500 million in revenue. Prior to joining Autodesk, Dr. Anagnost was a composite structures engineer and propulsion installation engineer at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company. After leaving Lockheed, he completed a doctorate degree at Stanford University and worked at NASA Ames Research Center as an NRC post-doctoral fellow. After his fellowship, Dr. Anagnost held several positions in sales and product management for the venture-funded simulation vendor EXA Corporation, where he helped secure the companyÍs first $1 million in revenue and drove the development of its long term product strategy. Dr. Anagnost holds a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California State University, and holds both an MS in Engineering Science and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University.
