Kevin Smedley is the engineering systems manager at FS-Elliott, which is a global centrifugal compressor manufacturer with facilities in Asia, Europe, and South America, and is headquartered in Export, Pennsylvania. Smedley has over 27 years of CAD and management experience. His background includes CAD and design management, instructor/trainer, consultant, and implementation and support specialist. His additional responsibility of becoming the new engineering systems manager includes continued CAD administration, product data management (PDM), and product lifecycle management (PLM) with new PMP and CIP. His additional tasks of continuous improvement for the shop floor and project-management process improvement open up the opportunity to bring global workflows and processes, enhancing the engineering CAD design successes.
