A couple of years ago, erelko AB, a Heating Ventilation and Sanitation consultant in South Sweden, started thinking about how the industry will look in the future, and which software to invest in as a planning tool. Should they continue with AutoCAD or should they perhaps also supplement with Revit?
erelko had already, since a couple of years back, worked with Autodesk Solution Provider CAD Studion as their strategic training and software partner but felt that they needed an extra dimension in both strategic advice and concrete project support, implementing Revit.
Along with basic training, erelko also was keen on building a structure around project management but also using Revit as a design tool, through commands, settings and management. This would open up doors to deliver exemplary models and solutions to a broader range of customers.
CAD Studion initially delivered Basic Revit Training to help the team understand how to learn to navigate the software, as well as best practices and implementing Swedish standards for HVAC and MEP.
This was later followed up with more advanced training including creating families, worksharing, properties, handling parameters, and more.
