Introducing The Hub—where it’s all happening

If you’re joining us at AU Las Vegas this year, make your first stop The Hub. Not only is it the place to register before classes begin, it’s the place to go all week long for fun and games, activities and art, coffee and conversations. It’s just 1 more way we’re making it easier than ever for you to make lasting connections and build your AU community. Here’s what’s happening in The Hub: Registration—Stop by and register early to avoid the rush. Registration is open Sunday, November 13, 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Monday, November 14, 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., plus Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Welcome Reception—Join us for cocktails and connections before classes kick off. Monday, November 14, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Art wall—Stop by and make your mark on AU 2016—pick a space to color, draw, or write a message. Bling your badge—Add some flare to your AU badge by telling everyone where your interests lie—plus, it’s an easy icebreaker. User groups—Do you belong to an Autodesk user group, or would you like to join 1? Stop by the User Group Kiosk and tell us how we can help. Green screen—Enjoy some visual FX fun with friends. Vex robotics—Think you know robots? Put your skills to the test. Games, games, games—Blow off steam between classes and make friends while you’re at it. We’ve got Lego corn hole; 2 foosball tables; a virtual sports floor featuring 3D soccer, 3D ice hockey, virtual piano; and more. Meet-Up Café—Schedule a meeting or continue a conversation with a new acquaintance over coffee, just outside The Hub.
