AIA Credits: A Partial List of Approved AU 2009 Classes
Not only is AU a great place to advance your learning, but also your professional standing. Many of the AEC sessions offered at AU are qualified through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for continuing education credits (CEUs), and some qualify for Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) credits.
And this year is no exception. AIA continuing education credits will be offered this year at AU 2009 in Las Vegas. This week we received the first round of sessions approved for credits. The rest should arrive next week and I’ll be posting all approved classes on the “How to Obtain Professional Credits for AU Classes” page on the AU Event website.

To receive AIA credits:
- You must enter your AIA member number on the registration form when you register for AU.
- When you attend a session, you must make sure your AU Registration Badge is swiped by one of the Autodesk staff when you enter the classroom. By doing so, you will automatically be recorded as having attended the session.
- When the AU 2009 Conference ends, the AU Team will submit this information to the AIA.
- The AIA will verify the information and send credits directly to you. This process can take up to one month.
If you still haven't received your credits one month after the conference, contact autodeskuniversity@autodeskevents.com or call 1-888-371-1722 (toll-free in the United States) or +1-415-446-7717 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).
