Ideas from Everywhere

Autodesk University has always been a conference where most classes are presented by Autodesk users to Autodesk users. This year, to take it to next level, we have set up a website for you to tell us what you would like to see at the conference. What would give you a reason to attend AU 2011 in Las Vegas?

Although we have noticed previous speakers are contributing, you don't have to be a speaker to submit an idea. We're looking for class suggestions that help solve the technical problems that keep you up at night. We want AU to be the forum you turn to for the answers you need and to be the place where you can engage with other users who are dealing with similar issues. So, even if you do not plan to present, let us know what the hot topics should be.

The AU 2011 Class Suggestions Forum has been open for a couple of weeks now and the AU community has submitted over 80 interesting class ideas. Here's a sample:

  • Engineering Analysis in Autodesk® Robot™
  • Creative Thinking
  • Beyond BIM Clouds
  • License and Registration, Please
  • Parking Lot Design Using AutoCAD® Civil 3D®
  • Efficient Revit® MEP Workflows
  • Architectural Visualization with AutoCAD®

Is there a class you'd like to attend at AU 2011? Stop by and submit your idea. If you see an idea you like, give it some of your votes. The AU 2011 Class Suggestions Forum will be open until April 15.

Please note that while the AU Team will consider the number of votes an idea gets, there is no guarantee that a class will be included just because it gets the highest number of votes. The AU Team uses a variety of criteria to select content for AU, and any ideas selected must fit into the overall AU 2011 program. Even if you get all your friends to vote for "Pogo Stick Training," it probably won't be on the agenda at AU 2011.
