The next decade of physical product design will be defined by what teams choose to automate. Modern design tools should not just make things happen faster. They should free teams to focus on taste-making, creation, and human intuition, while quietly handling the repetitive work no one wants to do. This session explores how end-to-end product workflows, powered by AI and human collaboration, are enabling teams to design faster, more efficiently, and better for the world. See how Autodesk Fusion and Naya complement each other across the full design process, from first concept to manufacturing, and walk away with a strategic view of how Fusion and Naya enable a better design process, and where the next year of AI and workflow is heading.

Join this session as Dan Szymanski shares the development roadmap and product strategy for Inventor Professional software. Dan will cover recent and planned functionality that will add value to everyday workflow needs. We encourage you to engage the Inventor product team members with questions and feedback during and after the session.

AI is changing how products are imagined, explored, and developed from the earliest stages. In this partner panel, Vizcom, Avnet, and Naya Studio will show how their Autodesk Fusion integrations bring AI and intelligent automation into conceptual design and the early stages of product development. Attendees will learn how Vizcom connects AI-powered concept visualization with Fusion design workflows; how Avnet supports electronics decisions, BOM insight, and early supply-chain awareness; and how Naya Studio connects Fusion models with the briefs, sketches, feedback, and approvals around them while turning Fusion geometry into early cost and sustainability insight. Together, these partners help product design teams turn early ideas into informed concepts and make smarter decisions before downstream development begins.

How do you do use the secure, scalable, and cost-effective capabilities of the cloud to accelerate your design and engineering process? In this session, we will show you how Autodesk cloud solutions such as Fusion 360 are built on a secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade Amazon Web Services platform, as well as how desktop solutions such as Inventor can be deployed on a secure virtual private cloud for enterprise-grade security and lower total cost of ownership.

Finally, you will identify the right approach to automate your Inventor drawings.

Autodesk is famed for having robust and reliable simulation tools. On the other hand, we have Generative Design in Fusion 360 software—the technology that revolutionizes the engineering world and the ways we design things. Autodesk development teams have been working on capitalizing on these proven simulation solvers as well as the latest technologies in a generative design. As a result, a new tech preview feature named Experimental Solvers is enabled in Fusion 360. This means every user of the generative design feature will also see new outcomes with new sophisticated shapes, in addition to the existing traditional solutions. This technology brings new functionalities and delivers forms optimized in a new way, opening doors that have been closed previously. In addition to showing how to use the new technology of Generative Design in Fusion 360, above all, we will present how the new functionalities empower the new applications using real-world examples.

Design review sessions are an essential part of product development for everything from automotive to architecture to manufacturing. It is essential to bring together stakeholders and experts from all disciplines—including design, engineering, and manufacturing—early in the design process. Visualizing prototype designs in VRED software in real time has been invaluable in discovering potential issues and delivering better products on a faster cycle. We have developed a set of design review tools implemented in Python inside of VRED to enable work sessions to be more effective and create a documentation trail for concrete decision making without resorting to as much physical prototype construction. Using ray tracing, VRED can enable reliable review of design details, especially glass, mirrors, and metals. Real-time remote collaboration enables participation from far-flung departments around the world without requiring travel. This session will explore case studies and demonstrate these capabilities.

CAD software requirements are drastically changing from the traditional use of desktop-based software usually consumed by the design department. Demand for cloud-based CAD web apps (also consumed by non-technical executives) is increasing. In the class, we will see how the Forge platform and various cloud infra providers can be utilized together to create modern-day vertical CAD configurators as per the specific need of each organization. Based on stats and test cases, we will demonstrate how a serverless CAD configurator can scale up massively to address the peak-hour needs of industry while staying low on budget. We will explain how Forge services can help us to bootstrap our applications and reduce the development time to as few as just three months, and bring down the development cost substantial.

Get on board with the enterprise product lifecycle management (PLM) team at D3 Technologies and learn from experts who configure and support Fusion Lifecycle software for some of the largest implementations in the United States. If you are a Fusion Lifecycle user or administrator, or you want to get in on the action and see (within 60 minutes) all the cool things this amazing technology can do, this class will deliver. Be warned, some topics may include terms like API, REST, and computed fields—but not to worry, we will do our best to keep it consumable and interesting for all user levels. Each team member plans to present at least 10 tips for improving your Fusion Lifecycle tenant or user experience. Setting the stage, we’ll have at least one solution architect, Fusion Lifecycle system administrator, implementation consultant, developer, and even a project manager. That is quite a team with a ton of experience implementing every type of field, script, workspace, project, and integration that connects to Fusion Lifecycle.

In this session, we’ll talk about how Autodesk products like Alias software, VRED software, PowerMill, and PowerInspect can empower automotive design studios with technology to push the boundaries of creativity and collaborate radically with the goal of making better products, faster.

Meet with the 3ds Max product team and one special customer guest to learn how we are enhancing workflows in modeling, texturing, asset publishing, and visualization for real-time 3D content production, with a specific focus on e-commerce applications. 3D content on the web is changing the way purchase decisions are made. From interactive models to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), there has never been a greater demand from content creators to develop high-quality, photorealistic models on shorter and shorter deadlines. In this session, you will hear from the 3ds Max product team about what we've been up to with modern content-creation tools and asset repurposing workflows. You will also discover what we believe the future looks like and how to join the conversation

Choose the role that best suits you or your experience and helps your team and make sure that the decision maker and moderator are equipped with the necessary skills.

Direct modeling is an extremely powerful tool in Fusion 360 software. The use of features that follow natural gestures and movements (i.e., pull, twist, stretch) empowers users to fully immerse in a modeling experience that provides enjoyment, exploration, and a sense of “flow.” Direct modeling can also bypass steps such as setting planes, sketches, and other 3D commands, which could get in the way of modeling workflows. While direct modeling is typically associated with T-Splines via the Sculpt environment, it is possible to also use it in parametric settings. This presentation will illustrate the power of direct modeling in both environments in Fusion 360 software with the use of simple yet effective workflows and design examples.

In this class, the speaker will share the Fusion 360 free-form modeling tips and tricks that were used to model the Ironman Suit and the Ironman Armor: Mark XLIV—HulkBuster. The process of making these suits was presented at Autodesk University 2017 and 2018. These two models were also posted on the Fusion 360 Gallery: (https://gallery.autodesk.com/projects/110798/ironman-suit), and (https://gallery.autodesk.com/projects/120141/iron-man-armor-mark-xliv—-hulkbuster)
