    Description

Data analytics has been a hot topic for a while now, but how can you extract data from Revit software to review, interpret it, and use it to improve your Revit model content or performance? The information could also be used in Microsoft Power BI for many other reasons. In this presentation, we will use Ideate BIMLink to extract data from a Revit model and show you how to visualize the data in Power BI in different ways to help you understand more about the Revit model—and see if anything needs to be changed to improve it.

    Key Learnings

    • Discover what Ideate BIMLink and Power BI are used for
    • Learn where to find learning resources for Ideate BIMLink and Microsoft Power BI
    • Learn how to use Ideate BIMLink to extract data from a Revit model and bring it into Power BI
    • Learn about and walk through examples of using Microsoft Power BI to examine the data from the Revit model
