Warum Revit, Linear und eine Laserscanner-Lösung für die außergewöhnlichen TGA-Projekte von ISW genau richtig sindMit dem Umstieg auf Autodesk-Software öffnete sich für die Ingenieurgesellschaft Schnittger Wilde mbH (ISW) in Bremen eine neue Welt mit neuen Möglichkeiten. Dank der Schulung gemäß dem Ausbildungskonzept BIM Ready und projektbezogenen Betreuung durch MuM kann das Unternehmen diese Möglichkeiten nutzen und echte Digitale Zwillinge schaffen.Wie versorgt man Forschende in der Arktis – und irgendwann auch auf dem Mond oder dem Mars – mit frischem Obst und Gemüse? Ein neu entwickeltes Containersystem der EDEN-Gruppe birgt ein Gewächshaus für genau diese Einsatzbereiche. Die Kühltechnik dafür stammt vom Ingenieurteam der ISW. Ein anderer Auftraggeber hat ISW mit der Planung und Bauleitung der Gewerke Elektro-, Heizungs-, Lüftungs-, Kälte- und Regelungstechnik für eine hoch komplexe Recyclinganlage für Batterien betraut. Die Planung von Anlagen zur Ver- und Entsorgung für Prozessluft, inkl. Sicherstellung von Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit und Qualität ist Alltag. „Solche Projekte machen uns viel Spaß, aber auch in der ‚klassischen‘ TGA haben wir zufriedene Kunden“, erzählt Firmengründer Ulf Schnittger. Das 2009 gegründete Büro beschäftigt rund 40 Mitarbeitende; Auftraggeber sind zu je ca. 50% die Öffentliche Hand und private Unternehmen.„Eigentlich“ gut versorgtDie Spezialapplikationen für HLS- und Elektroplanung, die ISW seit langem einsetzte, hatten sich grundsätzlich bewährt. At BAU in Munich, the management team learned about MuM’s BIM Booster and took the opportunity to book training—in their native language—with MuM. The results were evident right from the first project.Vertical Engineering is an engineering and consulting firm based in the Greek port city of Thessaloniki. Approximately 30 employees work in the fields of architecture, structural engineering, MEP design, permitting, construction, and project management. The projects include sophisticated residential buildings, hotels, office buildings, and energy infrastructure projects that stand out for their functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a key factor in the success of technically sound, high-quality projects.BIM – Many Benefits, One ChallengeBIM enables Vertical to integrate and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP design. Conflicts can be identified and corrected early on, while 4D and 5D simulations minimize costly errors and delays in both the design and construction phases. Digital twins ensure precise execution, real-time monitoring, and cost control during the construction phase. However, the Autodesk AEC Collection used at Vertical did not optimize all processes as desired – the team still had to perform some tasks manually. A tool for these tasks would be nice.

Nach der Firmenfusion führt die neu entstandene Hawa Sliding Solutions AG mit Unterstützung von MuM ein gemeinsames CAD, PDM und PLM einIm Zuge einer Firmenfusion ist die Konsolidierung der IT-Landschaft erfolgsentscheidend. Bei der schweizerischen Hawa Sliding Solutions AG (Hawa) in Mettmenstetten und Sirnach fiel die Entscheidung für eine Lösung aus dem Autodesk-Umfeld. MuM wurde als Projektbegleiter, Berater und Lieferant ausgewählt. Das Projekt DEVO (Digital Evolution & Virtual Orientation) läuft über rund fünf Jahre. Bis heute sind Termine und Kosten im Zeitplan; die Ergebnisse überzeugen schon jetzt.Ganz fremd waren sich die Schiebetürenhersteller EKU AG in Sirnach und Hawa AG in Mettmenstetten nicht – schließlich gehörten beide Unternehmen zur selben Firmengruppe. EKU entwickelte und produzierte vor allem Schiebetüren für Möbel, Hawa Innen- und Außentüren für Gebäude. Mit der Fusion im Jahr 2017 entstand ein hoch spezialisierter Hersteller, der in diesem Nischenmarkt weltweit zu den führenden gehört. Hawa sieht sich an einer Schnittstelle zwischen Maschinenbau und Bauwesen, denn neben rein mechanischen Schiebetüren gibt es auch solche, die halbautomatisch oder automatisch gesteuert werden und/oder schall und/oder geruchsdicht sind. Türen- und Werkzeugkonstruktion sind echter Maschinenbau. Entwickelt werden die Produkte allerdings für Schreinereien, Architekten, Bauherren, Investoren usw., für die vor allem die Integration der Tür in das Möbel oder das Bauwerk wichtig ist.
