Climate-Efficient Infrastructure with EC3 and AutoCAD Civil 3D

Join Phil Northcott of C-Change Labs and Tim Burnham of Autodesk Consulting to explore new free carbon-analysis tools for design and procurement of infrastructure projects like water and transport networks. We’ll explain the climate impact of concrete and steel, discuss key opportunities for low-cost impact reductions, and cover how to communicate options and savings to stakeholders. The talk will include a short demonstration integrating Civil 3D with EC3 on an example of an underground water network. We’ll generate a sustainability report on the civil design, and show how carbon intensity can be built into a public procurement. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers at the end.
